I've been eating there for years. I can really only recommend it! Whether with the family or as a nice couple dinner. Anytime with pleasure and again. Hopefully we can eat there again soon !!

It is an institution in Würzburg when it comes to food. It is incredibly delicious and a pleasure to go there every time. Very good home cooking served with good wines.

Very nice ambience, the Corona solution with the attached winter garden exudes a gala feeling and you can hardly stop looking around. The food came quickly, was of the best quality and the service was friendly, competent and even available for a nice chat. Highly Recommended.

Very good regional cuisine. The finest shovel as a really generous portion. Although the rooms are huge and winding, with a vaulted cellar, the service was always quick and friendly.

Attention! Visited on October 10th, 2020 in the evening. Had to go through a birthday party celebration in the dining area (about 20 younger adults without masks and standing around 3 tables, loudly partying). No personal Data acquisition from / at the tables on forms! Welcome to the hotspot.

Highly recommended! The food is really delicious and we were more than full. It is a little more expensive in terms of price, but it was definitely worth the money. The waitresses are all very attentive and friendly. Food was brisk and the wine list is extensive. It's especially nice to sit in the inner courtyard, we were there in October and there are umbrellas and patio heaters everywhere. It is best to reserve a table online in advance. We would love to come back!

We were visiting from Offenbach and after we couldn't get a seat in another restaurant, the waiter there recommended the Bürgerspital to us. We were very satisfied. Great service, very tasty food and great wines. The food could have been a little hotter though. We would love to come back.

Great location in a great environment. The wine list is great, nothing to be desired. Menu offers small and large dishes. Typical Franconian dishes are also offered.

As expected, it was delicious. The steak was grilled to perfection (medium rare) and the service was extraordinarily good despite the abundance of the place on Saturday evening! The menu is pretty basic and includes all German / Franconian delicacies, but otherwise little unusual. A little more vegetarian selection wouldn't be bad.

Very nice ambience in the historic courtyard. The service is very attentive, the food tastes excellent. The wine list here is called "Weinbuch", no wonder, because the selection is huge, the quality is very good, there is something for every taste.

We have been to the Bürgerspital a number of times and are delighted every time. The service is excellent, very quick, nice and attentive. The wines (especially the Rotling) are super delicious and the food is amazing. We come back to the Bürgerspital every time we are in Würzburg. Please continue! :)

Nice, large courtyard. Fine and home-style cuisine. Very large selection of wines, also a course menu with accompanying wines possible. The food was good, but it did not convince us completely, but it was served very quickly and without long breaks (almost too fast at times). The staff was friendly, but a little overwhelmed.

Great wine selection at decent prices. Local red wine Dunkel is amazing!!

Nice and really well prepared dishes. The fish serving I had was 'spitzenklasse". I enjoyed a well balanced silvaner wth my meal.

Great service, amazing crispy pork shoulder, tasty burger, and nice wine selection. If the weather is nice, sit outside in the courtyard patio.

Very nice huge beer garden. Luckily we had reserved on Friday. The service was very good and fast. The food was delicious. I had imagined the caramelized goat cream cheese differently. I thought he was warm. The prices are a bit higher. But the quality is very good. Unfortunately, there are only 0.5 l bottles of water, which is not understandable. Our request for tap water was stubbornly curtailed.

Luckily, we were staying more or less next door to this place. It provides a fantastic opportunity to get to know the wines of Würzburg and surroundings, offering tasting flights and loads of wines by the glass. The staff are lovely and helpful and you can also try before you buy!

We got a very interesting tour of the wine cellar. Even for me, who usually drinks more than a glass of wine a year, the wine was excellent. The food was also delicious and went well with the wine. By matching the tastes the food was a really impressive experience.

Outstanding local dishes, exceptionally well prepared, presented and served. Staff is genuinely welcoming. Waiters have meticulous attention to detail and deeply care about the guest. The local aged wines are highly recommended and exceed expectations of other tyoically humble Würzburg wines. The history of this place is unique: a hospital and vineyard that goes back to 1319.
